Chaka Khan

Chaka Khan is a famous American musician and singer. Also, she's known as her infamous nickname, The Queen of Funk. Her total number of Grammy awards is of ten Grammys throughout her lengthy career spanning more than 50 years. In addition, she was named as the 65th highest-performing ever dance artist by Billboard magazine. The grandmother who introduced her to jazz when she was just a young girl. She started her career playing with various bands. In the end, she was a part of the group Rufus. Together with the group, she recorded her first record at age twenty. The group won their first Grammy prize a year later. A few years later she debuted as an artist on her own, and she released her debut self-titled album. Through the years she's released other albums such as "Echoes Of An Era", "The Woman I am" and one track called "Funk It". She is also known for her charitable work. Chaka Khan Foundation was established to support children living in poverty families as well as people who suffer from autism. Khan can also be seen as an actress.
