Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback vocalist, actress and musician. Her main work is as the performer as well as a music director for Tamil and Malayalam films. She first made an appearance in Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer for the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is who works in Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah was born in Chennai was a student at Chennai National Public School. He was a graduate of Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano at the age of eight. She was a massive geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. By the age of 10, she was in a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the beginning of her early musical and singing career. In addition, she performed as a stage performer during college. She was also the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career as a part of Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she appeared in a leo commercial along with actor Shiva. In 2006, she was a part-time actress in a TV show which was broadcast on Podhigai. She has performed all over India. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang in a song to Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. She was asked to be one of his main female characters on Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. It featured Andrea playing Kalyani the wife of a homemaker who engages in an affair which leads to her being blackmailed. Andrea was cast in the part after Simran and Tabu both actresses were offered the role by the producers. The film was released in the early part of 2010. The film was released in early 2010. in Venkat's Mankatha in 2011, which included a host of actors. The actress made her Malayalam film debut with Rajeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
